LAWRENCEVILLE — Archer defeated rival Grayson 11-4 on Tuesday to stay unbeaten in Region 4-AAAAAA fastpitch softball play.
The Tigers are 17-2 overall and 15-0 in the region with a two-game lead in the loss column over second-place Grovetown (20-4, 12-2).
Alexis Evans delivered the big blow in the victory with a grand slam home run, part of a 3-for-3 night.
Archer also got multi-hit games from Lily Rodriguez (2-for-3, two RBIs), Caylee Lawson (2-for-4) and Mariah Maze (2-for-3, two runs). Cayleigh Curinton was 1-for-3 with an RBI in the win.
