Leanna Scoggin is one of our licensed and certified Athletic Trainers and has been on the Archer staff since 2019. Leanna graduated from the University of North Georgia with her Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training, where she interned with several teams including those at local high schools as well as the spending the 2018-2019 season with the UNG Baseball team.
Leanna’s passion for athletic training began during her own high school years as an athlete. While her love for sports medicine extends to all age groups, she finds particular fulfillment working with high school athletes. She values the opportunity to lay the foundation for strong relationships between sports medicine providers and athletes early on, with the hope that trust and mutual respect will continue to grow throughout an athlete's career. Inspired by the impact of her own high school athletic trainer, Leanna is committed to offering the same guidance and dedication to her athletes, helping them thrive both on and off the field.
She enjoys being part of the Archer community and when not on the sidelines of Archer games, she can be seen providing care for club sports and other outreach events. Outside of Sports Medicine, she enjoys reading, being outdoors, and being with her family.
