ACWORTH — Archer’s girls cross country team earned a spot at the upcoming state championships with its performance Saturday in the Georgia High School Association Class AAAAAA Sectional 2 meet for Regions 2, 3, 7 and 8.
The Tigers were 11th with 297 points in the meet that sends 12 teams to state in Carrollton.
Caroline Kutter led Archer with an 11th-place finish in 19 minutes, 15.13 seconds on the 5K course. Teammate Symeon Summerville backed her up in 47th place (21:03.83).
