LAWRENCEVILLE — Archer swept to 19-0 and 15-0 wins over Rockdale County on Thursday, improving to 4-0 in 4-AAAAAA play this week.
In Game 1, the 19-run outburst was fueled by Mariah Maze (2-for-2, three RBIs), Lily Rodriguez (2-for-2), Mia Johnson (2-for-2, three runs), Alexis Evans (2-for-2, three runs, RBI) and Jordyn Lewis (1-for-3, two runs). Cayleigh Curinton struck out seven in two, no-hit innings, for the win before Alayna Jones struck out two in a no-hit inning.
